Construction of the AKP Underpass

The AKP Underpass Construction Project, initiated by PT Adhi Kartiko Pratama Tbk in 2025, is a strategic infrastructure program designed to enhance connectivity and logistical efficiency within the company’s operational area in North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. The project aims to provide a dedicated traffic channel that supports heavy industrial transportation while minimizing disruptions to surrounding activities.

The development of this underpass seeks to improve operational traffic flow and ensure public safety by permanently separating heavy-duty company vehicles from public road networks. The project reflects AKP’s commitment to operational efficiency while upholding stringent Occupational Health and Safety standards. Key technical works include geotechnical and structural design, extensive excavation, reinforced concrete construction, approach ramps, and integrated support systems such as drainage, lighting, and ventilation.

This investment delivers significant operational benefits, including improved logistics efficiency, reduced travel delays, and enhanced material transport capacity. It also mitigates accident risks by eliminating at-grade crossings between industrial and public traffic.
