Construction of Workshop

This project is a strategic initiative by PT Barito Teknik Prasarana (PT BTP) aimed at strengthening the company’s technical and operational capability in the industrial sector. The development of a modern and integrated heavy-equipment maintenance and fabrication workshop in Kapuas was executed to meet the rising demand for reliable repair and servicing facilities in Central Borneo.

Built with sustainable construction principles, the workshop features a heavy steel structural system designed for high-load activities (including overhead crane operations), ergonomic workspace layout to optimize workflow, and energy-efficient ventilation and LED lighting systems to ensure a safe and productive working environment.

The facility now serves not only as a workshop, but as a technical resilience and innovation hub that strengthens PT BTP’s industrial activities and supports regional industrial development in Central Borneo.
